International Women’s Day. Whether you love it, or it’s something you are not even aware of, it’s becoming bigger and more celebrated with every year.
Traditionally, it’s a day to celebrate women’s rights, which started in 1977. For others, it’s a day to celebrate your own female idol, whether she be a celebrity or your neighbour.
This year, we’re giving you the opportunity to tell us about your own female idol, with our very own International Women’s Day competition. All you have to do is head over to our Facebook page, and tag your fabulous female idol, and you’ll be in with the chance to win a bouquet for you both! The only condition is that you are both local to us (within a 10 mile range!). The winners will be announced on March 8th!
