We’ve decorated a heap of stunning archways and back drops this summer, so we thought we would share some with you to give you some inspiration for your own big day.

Many of our weddings are now all in one venue, rather than church and then reception elsewhere. Earlier this summer though, we were lucky enough to dress the cute little archway at Wembury Church. I think this is quite possibly one of my all time favs. The colours of this wedding were so subtle, but absolutely stunning. Take a look ……

We’ve also been lucky enough to work with the fabulous Two Be Wed on many weddings this summer, and had the opportunity to dress their stunning prism frame at Polhawn Fort. This huge frame really lends itself to the dramatic backdrop at Polhawn. You could be absolutely anywhere on a sunny day. Cornwall really is amazing, as long as you are lucky with the weather!

Polhawn Fort has the most beautiful backdrop

Many of the venues we work with have their own pergola or open summer house that we can decorate, Knightor Winery, in Cornwall, have created a beautiful area in their grounds which is just the loveliest spot to exchange vows. It’s always lovely to decorate these areas with flowers, but also understand that sometimes, our couples want to have a double use out of the blooms, so we have often created milk churn arrangements which can be used during the wedding breakfast and other parts of the day ..

Bringing material swags into the decoration is also a great way to create more of a feature. We loved this stunning set up with eucalyptus garlands and ties to hold back the swags ….

Eucalyptus drapes and matching chair ties down the aisle really bring together the wedding theme ..

We hope this gives you a little inspiration or starting block for your ceremony decor! You can of course also follow us on Pinterest to follow our own pins and those that inspire us.
