On a not so sunny Wednesday, I found myself driving across the sand to the magical Burgh Island Hotel.
Hayley & John were tying the knot! and they had travelled down from Essex to get married on this romantic island. It was a privilege to create their wedding flowers, with a cream and ivory theme and a very slight nod to the 1920’s.
Hydrangea, peonies, gyp and roses were the theme of the day, and they looked absolutely stunning in the gorgeous ‘Garden Suite’ in the sumptuous hotel overlooking the sea.
The registrar table was decorated with hydrangea, roses and ivy trails with a touch of white gyp to soften.
All in all, despite the overcast Plymouth weather, a truly beautiful day. I hope the couple will be very happy in their married life together.
