We love Chelsea! We’ve never managed to get there, because flower related life gets in the way .. maybe next year! However, we happily watch and admire from a distance, and with that, we’ve rounded up our Chelsea best bits, from gardens to thrones to Chelsea in bloom…
We start with a huge 2018 favourite. Literally everyone I have spoken to about Chelsea has mentioned ‘that Yorkshire garden’! 
Every year the detail that these gardens have simply amazes us, especially within the time frame and the traditional British weather. This beauty celebrates all things Yorkshire – natural materials, artisan food and traditional crafts. Designer Mark Gregory is a genius in my eyes!
Next up, a completely different design, The Myeloma Garden, a bold structure designed to demonstrate the work done by medical professionals and carers for Myeloma sufferers.
Jumping several continents to South Africa, this vineyard inspired garden represents one of the most recognisable wine producing regions of the country.
Our final favourite garden is this ‘Eco-City’ garden, designed to highlight and inspire us to realise the need for outside garden space in our pressured daily lives. This garden even features an outside kitchen to show how you can make the most of outside space.
We also absolutely loved the astonishing display from Flowers from the Farm in The Great Pavilion too. Flowers from the Farm was set up in 2011. Most members are sole traders running small or micro businesses: farmers, smallholders and gardeners, who are using their knowledge of horticulture and floristry to grow and present a different range of flowers from those available in the supermarkets and the wholesale markets. They are a simply amazing bunch who have produced this incredible display…
So, with our favourite gardens mentioned, we swiftly move onto our favour Chelsea Young Florist & Florist of the Year 2018. This year candidates were asked to produce a throne, and some of these pieces really are fit for a King! Here’s our two favourites…
This gorgeous piece (left) earned Rebecca Hough, Chelsea Young Florist of the Year. We love the wooden structure and gorgeous vibrancy.
And this stunning yellow throne (right) has amazing natural design detail. Amazing work from Pippa Craigen
And so, last but certainly not least, Chelsea in Bloom.
Outside of the Chelsea Garden grounds, the shops in and around Chelsea town centre work together with floral designers to create the most amazing features across the front of their stores. This years them was ‘Summer of Love’. Take a look at these amazing designs…
