This week has been one to make us realise that summer is well and truly behind us! The evenings seem to be getting longer by the day and it is easy to come home and hibernate in front of the fire….
Perhaps though, we should look at this dark and cold season as a time to get creative and meet new people. Workshops during the autumn and winter months are getting more and more popular. From book clubs to cake decorating, you can do it all on these dreary long evenings! I, of course, suggest getting creative with some beautiful fresh flowers! Not only is it the perfect opportunity to meet like minded friendly flowery sorts and learn a new skill, it also means you can take whatever you create home and brighten up your house for the next week or so – what more could you want? During the summer months, I have been fortunate enough to meet some lovely suppliers whilst setting up for weddings in various parts of
Devon. At the end of August, I met the lovely Simon of Simon Rawling Photography . This week Simon kindly sent me a selection of stunning photos from the wedding and I am thrilled to have them to use on my site and to promote my work.
Receiving beautiful photographs gives me the opportunity to reflect on how lucky I have been to work with such lovely couples this year. It also fills me with enthusiasm for the weddings I still have to do for this year, and with excitement for the new couples I have been meeting with recently to discuss their weddings for next year!
